Home to the HQ of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Brandon Marsh is a Nature Reserve, which encompasses some 200+ acres of marsh, woodland, meadow and lakes, and which we visit regularly.
The reserve teems with both resident and migratory species of birds as well as Muntjac Deer and many other mammals, Huge numbers of Dragon and Damselfly and many other insect species abound.
An otter was photographed on the reserve in late 2009.
Plants and Fungi are equally abundant on the Reserve, depending on the season, of course.
These galleries are not designed as a showcase for our photography but rather as a way to show what is on the reserve in a given month.
Each gallery holds images from any year, but always the month referred to in the gallery title.
NB: Commenced 1st June 2009, the galleries are not an exhaustive list, but a sample of what we have seen and photographed.
For bandwidth reasons I now intend to limit the monthly galleries to circa 100 shots per month. The intention is to continue adding new files, and to delete the oldest ones on a 1 in 1 out basis......

Hello,
We are Kevin and Seri, a married couple presently living in Coventry, a mid-sized city in the geographic centre of the United Kingdom.
We are both fascinated by wildlife in all its forms, and the locations in which such animal, bird, insect, plant, fungi and so on, lifeforms may be found.
Enthusiastic photographers, we have taken in excess of 72,000 shots of Brandon, as of 10th July 2010. We have been members of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust since 2006.
We use mostly Nikon equipment including: Nikon D50, D100, D200 and D2H. All very old and underpowered by modern standards. We also now own and use a Nikon D300s.
These galleries are not about us, or our photography, they are about Brandon Marsh.........
We know a lot of photographers at Brandon Marsh, many of them use Flickr, as do we, to display their works. Have a look, (search for Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve) there are some exceptional photos.
